The buildup up to the big sweeps at the beginning is amazing, and throughout the rock/techno vibe kept my attention well, this deserves full marks.

I Could see this being a great RnB backing track in the future, its so calming and yet has a beat which you don't see often. The claps in the beggining are a little... out of the style though.

Missing something

I Like the feel, it could definately work for a boss battle like your title suggests, but i think its missing some heavy bass drums in it to give it a battle theme. Although its not bad, it could be better.

Gotta say that the sound goes straight through me... can't stand it. and its too short if im honest. but its a good idea so can't mark you down too badly.
